Congratulations to Wendy Shuar and the girls who put together the outstanding 2009  Lane Cove Christmas Window.  Dominic Grimes, Branch Manager, Lane Cove NAB, presented Wendy with the huge winner's cheque on Saturday evening, (19 December) during the fantastic Judy Bailey Jazz Connection performance.

Lane Cove ALIVE is calling for  Expressions of Interest from young people in the Lane Cove Community, to become the Youth Representative on the Lane Cove ALIVE Board of Directors.

This position is voluntary, as are all Directors' positions. Hugh Wallace was the previous representative. Lane Cove Alive is pleased to announce that SavvyConnect Free Wi Fi has replaced the previous service.  We apologise for the inconvenience of not having the Wi Fi service available over the past months.

New Mayor and Deputy Elected

Councillor Win Gaffney was elected as Mayor of Lane Cove for 2009/10 on 21 September 2009. Councillor Gaffney represents West Ward and has been a councillor for 5.5 years.

Councillor Pam Palmer was elected Deputy Mayor for 2009/10. Councillor Palmer has been on Council for 1 year and represents East Ward.
